Business Issue

This partnership between two of the world’s leading suppliers of paper machine conveyor belts sought to establish a new large-scale manufacturing plant in China.

In developing a comprehensive location strategy, the client faced challenges in determining an appropriate mix between transportation access, operating costs, labor availability and quality, manufacturing site characteristics, taxes, highways, utilities, supplier access, local business climate, zone transparency, and expatriate quality of life.
